so i go over to the wonderful little rune dealer to buy myself a nice cheap minor scythe rune, but what do I find?

There was another instance where I clicked to buy it and it sold "sorry we just sold out! Sorry for the inconvenience."

Not to mention minors are 700 gold! It's the most expensive dervish rune (though insignia is still more... which is still amazing), more-so than superiors! THIS IS MADNESS! (waits for it)

Because there's no point running a superior rune, IMHO.

I had the same problem too. My dervish will have to wait a while to equip her second hood.

Personally I thanked M.O.X. for the 10k and 20 party points and then went on with my business. He hasn't touched my party except for the trip to the secret lair, and probably won't when I've got two other perfectly fine Dervish heroes.

Another reason why minor scythe mastery is more expensive than, for example, minor sword/axe (and obviously hammer PvE) is that Dervish is campaign specific and as a result there are a lot more drops for sword/axe. Scythe runes drop only in NF and EoTN, while core runes drop in all four, and in greater percentages in Prophecies (random % / 6 professions)

Yeah...I bought 3 stacks of Minor Scythe Runes just before MOX's update. I'm only releasing them into the market one at a time now.

Sure MOX looks cool, but I did the quests and pocketed the cash. Haven't had him in my party yet either. I doubt I ever will.

I find it funny that after having 2 dervish heroes (1 for almost 2 years, the other for almost a year) everyone is going beserk over having a third derv.

Even I am guilty of this-as soon as he came out I spent ~20k runeing out all 3. Humans are weird.

Listen, we here are the elite few who think they know something (sarcasm)...let's be honest, 80% or more of guild wars players don't even know this site exists.
Anet obviously found out a lot of kids out there really dig the golems and this just proves them right. To me it sucks and I will never use MOX, but hey, that's ok, I enjoyed doing the quests with all my 13 characters and making the 130k in 2 days. Bought me a nice voltaic spear and I'm happy. Just the one thing my para still needed.
So runes will be out for a week or two, they will be back and 2 months from now you'll hardly see MOX being used anymore cause there are better classes for heroes. But hey, I ain't complaining.

Yeah, same here. I spent like 10k runing him out, and getting a elite/bar set up for him. Still need to buy him a decent Scythe to be honest...

I have not even bothered buying any runes for MOX. It is not like I am ever going to use a Dervish Hero. When the runes become available I might rune him up just in case I accidentally add him by mistake.

Sadly, correlated to this one, whenever you go PUG now, everyone and their mother and father and cousin and grandmother, are insisting on having their "l33t gol3m" in their party.. in place of.. any casters for that matter...

Last night, my party consist of 1 Warrior (pug) + 1 big dud3, 1 mesmer (me) + 1 Orgen , 1 paragon (pug) + 1 big dud3, 1 Sin (pug) + 1 big dud3.

I said, "umm, are we sure gonna go with this set up? We will fail you know.. and fast.. >_> "

they said:

pug no 1: "lol, shutup, you obviously dontve a cool heroes like ours, so dont be jeluos, k?"

pug no 2: "Nah, she's (she...) awsome, well (he meant we'll) pawne all of them y' know

pug no 3: "Don't worry, my MOS (Yeah, mos -_-; ) is very good, he can attack and defend just like in D/D quest, so dont worry abt the monk role!"

so, i play along because i got plenty of time. But, needless to say soon... *story cut due to obvious future event*

So, I left.. back to town, LFG again to do some clearing. 2 person invited me, ele with 1 friend which is a mesmer and a warrior. See the list of member on each of them, saw-----> " M.O.X+M.O.X+M.O.X"

Give it at least 1.5 weeks, I bet it starting to died down, and the runes will available as usual..

there've only been like 6 sin runes for a while now.. i blame vs farming.
